Carie Garrett comes to yoga from a background of modern dance and 25 years of experience as a group exercise instructor. She has served as an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified instructor as well as an ACE workshop presenter. Carie has been practicing and teaching yoga since 2000 and in 2001 she became a student and apprentice of Los Angeles-based yoga master Erich Schiffmann. Carie studies with Erich extensively and has worked as his teaching assistant since 2002. She is now one of his senior teachers and continues to work with him at retreats, workshops, and teacher trainings throughout the country. Carie teaches classes in College Station, Texas and workshops and retreats throughout the state.
